Vision Testing

Vision testing is a basic eye examination that measures how clearly a person can see at various distances, used to detect refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. It typically forms the first step of any comprehensive eye check-up and helps determine whether corrective lenses are needed. The test uses standardised eye charts and, if abnormalities are found, may be followed by more detailed refraction testing to determine the exact prescription. Regular vision testing is recommended for children starting school and periodically throughout adulthood.
