About Breast Imaging
Breast imaging uses mammography, ultrasound and MRI to find and evaluate breast problems. Mammography screening from around 40 to 45, or earlier with a family history, can detect cancer before a lump can be felt.
Ultrasound is often used for younger women and dense breasts. Suspicious areas are sampled with image-guided biopsy.
