Wheezing

Wheezing is a high-pitched whistling sound made while breathing, especially during exhalation, caused by narrowed or obstructed airways. It is a hallmark sign of conditions like asthma but can also occur with infections or allergic reactions. Wheezing may be accompanied by chest tightness, coughing, or shortness of breath.
