📖What is Poor Feeding?

A reduced interest in or ability to breastfeed or bottle-feed, common in infants and young children who are unwell. It may present as shorter feeding sessions, falling asleep quickly at the breast or bottle, refusing feeds altogether, or taking noticeably less volume than usual. Because young infants depend entirely on adequate feeding for hydration and growth, this symptom is taken seriously by paediatricians.
