• 1Pre-operative assessment — blood work, ECG, imaging, and fitness for spinal/general anesthesia
• 2Administration of spinal/general anesthesia by the anaesthesia team
• 3Surgical access — incisions or ports created based on open or minimally invasive approach
• 4Core procedure: Minimally invasive procedures to remove kidney stones — PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) for large stones via a small back incision, and URSL (Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy) using a scope through the urethra.
• 5Haemostasis, drain placement if needed, and systematic closure of surgical layers
