• 3Surgical access — incisions or ports created based on open or minimally invasive approach
• 4Core procedure: Surgical correction of a hernia where an organ or tissue protrudes through a weak spot in surrounding muscle or connective tissue. Includes inguinal, umbilical, hiatal, and incisional hernias.
• 5Haemostasis, drain placement if needed, and systematic closure of surgical layers
