🔬How Hemorrhoidectomy is Performed

• 1Pre-operative assessment — blood work, ECG, imaging, and fitness for spinal/general anesthesia
• 2Administration of spinal/general anesthesia by the anaesthesia team
• 3Surgical access — incisions or ports created based on open or minimally invasive approach
• 4Core procedure: Surgical removal of severe or prolapsed hemorrhoids (swollen blood vessels in and around the rectum and anus) that have not responded to conservative treatments.
• 5Haemostasis, drain placement if needed, and systematic closure of surgical layers
• 6Transfer to recovery room for anaesthesia reversal and vital-sign monitoring
