About Cardiac Transplant
Cardiac transplantation replaces a severely failing heart with a donor heart from a brain-dead donor, for carefully selected patients. It requires a transplant team, an ICU and a strong donor network.
After transplant, lifelong medicines prevent rejection, and regular biopsies and check-ups monitor the heart. Register only with authorised centres.
