About Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a structured programme of exercise, breathing techniques, education and support that helps people with chronic lung disease breathe easier and do more.
It reduces breathlessness, improves stamina and cuts hospital admissions. Programmes usually last six to twelve weeks and are most useful for COPD and after lung illness.
