About Cardiac Nuclear Imaging
Cardiac nuclear imaging shows blood flow to the heart muscle at rest and under stress, helping find blocked arteries and assess whether damaged muscle can recover.
A small amount of radiotracer is injected, and pictures are taken with a gamma camera. Follow instructions about caffeine and medicines before the test.
