About Urogynecology
Urogynaecology treats bladder and pelvic floor problems in women, such as leaking urine when coughing or laughing and the sensation of a bulge in the vagina. These conditions are common after childbirth and with menopause, and are not something to simply put up with.
Pelvic floor exercises, bladder training, medicines or a vaginal device help many women, and surgery is available for stubborn problems.
