Causes of Deep Vein Thrombosis
Caused by factors that promote abnormal blood clotting, including prolonged immobility such as long flights or bed rest, recent surgery, cancer, pregnancy, hormone therapy including oral contraceptives, obesity, smoking, and inherited clotting disorders.
