Squint

• 1Squint arises from an imbalance in the eye muscles or the nerves that control them
• 2which can be present from birth or develop due to uncorrected refractive errors

• 4or neurological conditions. In adults it can result from stroke
• 5head trauma
• 6thyroid eye disease
• 7or diabetes affecting the nerves that control eye movement. A family history of strabismus also increases risk.
