What is Squint?

Squint, medically known as strabismus, is a condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned with each other and point in different directions, either constantly or intermittently. One eye may turn inward, outward, upward, or downward while the other remains fixed on the object being viewed. It is common in young children but can also develop in adults due to nerve damage, muscle problems, or other underlying medical conditions. If left untreated in childhood, it can lead to amblyopia, or lazy eye, as the brain suppresses visual input from the misaligned eye.

Causes of Squint
