Causes of Internal Bleeding
Internal bleeding most commonly results from blunt or penetrating trauma that ruptures blood vessels or solid organs such as the spleen, liver, or kidneys. Certain cancers and vascular malformations can also erode into blood vessels and cause spontaneous bleeding.
