Causes of Nasal Polyps
Nasal polyps develop from chronic inflammation of the nasal and sinus lining, often driven by conditions such as allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, asthma, or aspirin sensitivity. The exact trigger for polyp formation is not completely understood, but it involves an ongoing inflammatory response that causes the mucous membrane to swell and eventually form grape-like growths.
