Causes of Febrile Seizure
Triggered by a rapid increase in body temperature associated with a viral or bacterial infection, most commonly common childhood illnesses such as ear infections, respiratory infections, or roseola. It is thought to result from the immature developing brain's heightened sensitivity to rapid temperature changes. Risk factors include a family history of febrile seizures, young age, and recent vaccination, which can cause a temporary fever in some children.
