Causes of Female Infertility
Common causes include ovulatory disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome, blocked or damaged fallopian tubes often from prior infection or endometriosis, uterine abnormalities like fibroids or polyps, and diminished ovarian reserve related to advancing age. Hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, and, in some cases, unexplained causes despite thorough evaluation also contribute.
