What is Androgenetic Alopecia?

Androgenetic Alopecia, commonly known as male or female pattern hair loss, is a common progressive condition characterized by gradual thinning of hair following a predictable pattern influenced by genetics and hormones. In men, it typically presents as a receding hairline and thinning at the crown, while women more often experience diffuse thinning over the top of the scalp with a preserved hairline.
