Signs You May Need Glaucoma Surgery

Glaucoma often has no early symptoms, which is why regular eye pressure checks are important, but warning signs of advancing disease include gradual loss of peripheral (side) vision, tunnel vision in later stages, and, in acute angle-closure glaucoma, sudden severe eye pain, blurred vision, halos around lights, nausea, and vomiting.
