About Trauma Care
Trauma care follows a structured approach: airway, breathing, circulation and rapid control of bleeding. Prompt treatment in the first hour after serious injury greatly improves survival.
Call 108, apply pressure to bleeding, keep the person still if a neck or spine injury is possible, and avoid giving food or drink.
