Causes of Developmental Delay
Developmental delay can result from genetic conditions such as chromosomal abnormalities, complications during pregnancy or birth such as prematurity or oxygen deprivation, exposure to toxins or infections during pregnancy, and postnatal factors such as severe illness, malnutrition, or lack of environmental stimulation.
