No. Your liver and kidneys perform detoxification continuously; no juice or tea enhances that. Short-term weight loss on cleanses is water and glycogen. Some cleanses cause electrolyte disturbance and are actively risky.

Juice cleanses strip fibre while concentrating sugar, and provide very little protein — which is why people lose water and some muscle rather than fat.

People with diabetes, kidney disease or on diuretics can be genuinely harmed by these regimens. If you want a reset, the evidence-based version is cutting alcohol, ultra-processed food and added sugar for a few weeks.
