Why Mole/Lesion Excision Is Needed
Mole or lesion excision is recommended when a skin growth shows features suspicious for skin cancer, such as irregular borders, colour variation, or recent changes in size or shape, or simply when a mole is cosmetically bothersome or repeatedly irritated by clothing or shaving.
